Started in 1963 as W J Hardie Ltd by Bill Hardie, Mainly wiring of new State owned housing. The name then changed to Hardie Electrical Services in 1982 when John Hardie became a shareholder. In 1984 Bill semi-retired and John took a hold of the reign’s . During the 53 years 15 apprentices have been trained and qualified, One staff member served the company for 32 years before retiring. Another Kerrin Sherborne, having served his apprenticeship with us and then an overseas adventure, has returned after 21 years and has now taken over the business.
